Fishermen's Spot Travel & Adventure
Hosted trips
Time is precious to all of us. There are only so many adventures we can enjoy while here on this planet and the opportunity to do so is too valuable to waste on a bad experience. Here at the “Spot,” we take pride in making sure that the outfitters and destinations we choose to promote, are the best. We could do what many other shops do, and hook up with one of the many trip wholesalers, use their lodges, and take a chance. But, we feel, that if we were spending our hard earned cash and time, we would want to be confident that we were getting the right lodge, the first time.
Below is a list of the hosted trips, with some great outfitters, that we have scheduled, so far, for the upcoming season. We realize that these dates might not work for everyone, and we can also find you the perfect trip that fits your timeframe. Just let us know where you would like to go. Chances are we already have a relationship with a lodge or outfitter in that area. In the coming months, we will be announcing additional destination travel adventures and associations with some of the finest lodges and outfitters in the world. Stay Tuned.

Patagonia April '08
Join us for a unique oppportunity in the Patagonia. On April 5th Ken Lindsay will begin an exploratory trip into southern Patagonia. Our friend Sebastian Galilea, who owns Cinco Rios and Estancia Del Zorro lodges, has invited us to help him explore some new waters 5 hours, by road, to the south of his location. This is a remote region that has no lodges and is largely unfished. We will fish rivers in both Chile and Argentina targeting the large brown trout that begin their spawning runs out of the lakes at this time of year. Fish average 22 inches and fish of over 30 inches are in the system. Unfortunately I am unable to give specific place names because this is virgin territory and Sebastian is keeping it a very closely guarded secret. I have room for 1 or 2 experienced anglers who can handle wind and big flies and want to be some of the first fly fishers into this region (only one angler that we know of last year). Cost for the trip $3350 plus air fare and gratuities. Guides, in-country ground transportation, food and lodging are all included in this price. Please call Ken @ (818) 785-7306 for more information on this once in a lifetime opportunity.
