Time is precious to all of us. There are only so many adventures we can enjoy while here on this planet and the opportunity to do so is too valuable to waste on a bad experience. Here at the “Spot,” we take pride in making sure that the outfitters and destinations we choose to promote, are the best. We could do what many other shops do, and hook up with one of the many trip wholesalers, use their lodges, and take a chance. But, we feel, that if we were spending our hard earned cash and time, we would want to be confident that we were getting the right lodge, the first time.

Below is a list of the hosted trips, with some great outfitters, that we have scheduled, so far, for the upcoming season. We realize that these dates might not work for everyone, and we can also find you the perfect trip that fits your timeframe. Just let us know where you would like to go. Chances are we already have a relationship with a lodge or outfitter in that area. In the coming months, we will be announcing additional destination travel adventures and associations with some of the finest lodges and outfitters in the world. Stay Tuned.

Patagonia January '09

Patagonia March/April '09

We love Estancia del Zorro so much we have two groups going this year. Who can resist the siren call of big shouldered brown trout, slashing rainbows and the awesome scenery of the southern Andes? Obviously not us. Join us in sampling the fantastic fall fishing that this area of Chile has to offer. You'll never forget it. March 28th - April 4th 2009 are the dates we have reserved and this is prime time for large brown trout in this part of Patagonia. Last season I (Ken) landed a 27"+ fish on a small (size 10) hopper but, I fished over a much bigger fish (33, 34?) that would not take. This may be your best chance at a double digit Brown trout in a spring creek setting. 6 days of fishing, 7 nights lodging, guides, in-country ground transportation, food and lodging are all included in the price. Cost for the trip $3275 plus air fare and gratuities a $400 price reduction from last season. Montana Rendezvous '09

Enjoy five days of fly-fishing the magnificent waters surrounding this world-renowned fishing lodge. Five guided days of fishing such fabled waters as the Beaverhead, the Big Hole, the Madison, the Ruby, the Jefferson, the Gallatin or even some exclusive private Five River’s waters.
