Bear Bay Lodge on Lake Aleknagik is the perfect location for fly-out trips
to the Wood-Tikchik State Park and surrounding areas.
Awesome runs of King, Sockeye, Silver, Chum and Pink Salmon flood intothe rivers beginning in June and continue all the way through till the end of September.
Big Rainbows and Char follow the hordes of Salmon to feast on their eggs.
Grayling, Lake Trout and Northern Pike are also available throughout the season.

 

 

My wife, Palma, and I will be taking a trip to this area
August 2nd -9th for a shot at some of these big Bows and Char.
